Ice-Crowned Peaks summit holds the lands last large dragon eggs. These dragons have been extinct for several generations and there are few alive still who even remember flyable dragons. Somewhere on this peak lay the last of these eggs. Not many know they exist, as they have since become legend. Only those with the royal documents will possess the map to this peak's location. Because it is hidden so well by the rest of the mountain, only those with the map can locate it. Otherwise, others without the map end up on different, dangerous peaks.[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]
As the name implies, this cave is known as a Desolate place. The mouth of the cave is cause enough for fear, not to mention what lays within. It is rumored the large dragons still live within the cave, but no one has seen any sign of them for many years. Because this cave is located at the top of the frozen landscape of The Ice-Crowned Peaks, no one has been able to climb up and see for themselves. It is a grueling task to reach this cave, as blizzards and the cold have hindered even the most skilled ice benders. If not properly prepared for this journey, one can expect not to make it out alive.[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]
The Ice-Crowned Peaks are as beautiful as they are deadly. With jagged cliffs and blizzards that can start at any moment, this is not a good place to journey alone. While the crystal on the mountain does shimmer in the moonlight, this mountain should not be taken lightly. With avalanches common, and many travelers unable to withstand the freezing temperatures, Ice-Crowned Peaks is a beautiful yet dangerous terrain. If you can even find your way up the sharp pass, it is a three day journey from base to peak. Leaving yourself exposed to the elements could prove deadly.[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]
The White Highlands are located in Palioy Village. This mountain is not very large and easily passable to most travelers. During winter months, the mountain can become treacherous but it is uncommon. This mountain is not the only way through the land, but it is a hell of a walk to go around. This mountain's peak is very tranquil during spring and summer months. This is the perfect place to train dragons for combat in higher elevations.[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]
The lake of Arkeon stretches as an oasis for such a hot town. This is a great place to fish, relax, swim, or otherwise take a boat out. Although it is great for escaping others who chase you, it is not recommended to go swimming at night. Some say foul creatures prowl the depths and shores during the dark hours of night, while others claim it is merely water dragons messing with those who get too close. Either way, the water is dark, and things are quite creepy when the sun goes down. Be wary, traveler, as you step into this lake after dusk. You never know what might go bump in the night.[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]
To be fair, this is not just a plateau. This rocky terrain also has a valley and is the perfect place for miners to dig out precious stones. Although it has been proven quite difficult, this is a favorite place, in the valley, for farmers to raise livestock. Although Arkeon does not have much in way of farming or agriculture, this is the spot in the town where any of such exists. The plateau is a great place to herd sheep or otherwise move cattle. Careful, though, as wild dragons have been known to rest on the flat surfaces to sunbathe. A few too many farmers and their animals have been devoured by such beasts plenty of times. No, to be honest, those are just rumors. It is uncertain what types of dragons call the plateau their home, as many different species seem to live in harmony upon its rock. You'd probably be best to just avoid them, anyway.[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]
The Bold Imp Tavern is located in Arkeon Village and is the centerpiece of the otherwise busy town. There have been little rumors surrounding the place, but none of the locals will address their suspensions openly. This Tavern welcomes all types of benders, but Fire and Metal welders get special discounts and rooms. This is a nice hub to kick back after a long day, or a great Inn to relax a bit while journeying. Be careful, though, as the drunks around here love to kiss and tell. There is a lights out curfew for all overnight guests, as well as food and drink a plenty for those willing to pay.[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]
Although there is still some vegetation, Fairgold desert is quite dry and hot. Since it does not get much rain around here, fire dragons are typically looked down upon when near plants. In this desert, lightning dragons can be seen frequently training by professional dragon trainers. These dragons are trained to hunt and bring back small prey. Or, if taking down larger prey, learn how to harness their element to paralyze or kill the game. This desert is welcoming of water dragons, and highly values anyone who brings such creatures to their land. This is a more rough-cut village, and of medium size. It is not quite large enough to be a town, but quite big for a village, too. Nestled among rocks and sand, people here are quite used to the dry and humid heat that seems to be never-ended.[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]
Like it's namesake, this forest is evergreen, depending on the section of the forest you find yourself in. Nearest the kingdom's capital, the forest becomes dark and foreboding. However, the closer one comes to Arkeon Village, the more lively the forest becomes. The quickest way through is to cross the stream halfway between both locations. Although the water is quite deep for a stream, the water quite fast, and many have lost their lives here, this is the fastest route through, unless you wish to travel eight miles north or south just to find a shallow part to cross. This forest is the only way from the kingdom and Arkeon. [/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]
This castle is located at the tip-top of the city's walls. The entire city has been walled in during the years of the Emperor's reign, and has been turned from a prosperous and thriving capital, to one that is struggling to pay it's dues. The castle itself is surrounded by a moat to ensure no one but those welcome enter or leave. The emperor has made certain that no trespasses could occur and he was safely tucked away from the rest of the angry kingdom. The castle is heavily guarded by men whom the emperor has brought down from his own country...just to be sure no one might dare betray him.[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]
The kingdom of Beriore used to be a friendly and welcoming place. Although it has not lost its generous attitude, the kingdom has been wary of the Emperor's advanceso to try to take over their country. King Thatcher rules this kingdom wisely and is a most gracious host to those willing to make the journey to see him. King Thatcher has a beautiful castle which is surrounded by the city. He allows commoners to come and go as they please in his gardens and main entrance, so long as his living quarters, study, and throne room remain safe.[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]
